Zeal Creative

As Chief Strategy officer at Zeal, Lorna Hawtin has been an outspoken promoter of creativity and effectiveness culture both in her work as Disruption Director at TBWA and more recently with clients such as Nestle, Philips Global, Lucozade and Carlsberg Britivic at Zeal.

Aside from leading the agency and her speaking engagements, she has been a member of the UK Effie steering committee, and a valued member of the IPA’s Value of Creativity Leadership Group. This saw her appointed Convener of Judges for the IPA Effectiveness Awards in 2014, having won a number of Effectiveness awards as author in her formative years. She was also awarded a Fellow of the IPA in recognition of her exceptional prolonged contribution to the industry body and her work in developing the Eff Test for young strategists.

In addition to her effectiveness work, she was also the inaugural recipient of the Sir John Hegarty Exec. MBA Scholarship to the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, where she took home the Michael Conrad Outstanding Thesis Award for her thought-provoking research “Unpicking the Extrovert Ideal in ‘Adland’”.
