Monica is a seasoned brand builder and communications strategist with nearly two decades of experience spanning agencies, tech platforms, and publishers. Currently Director of Client Strategy at Reach plc and a 2013 Marketing Academy Scholar alumnus, she drives upstream marketing conversations rooted in her unique background, having started in journalism before shifting to advertising after completing a master’s in medieval literature.
Her leadership track record includes serving as Head of Strategy at Wavemaker (2021–2025), leading comms and creative teams at Verizon Media, and driving strategic work at agencies like Spark Foundry and PHD UK driving growth for brands like Heineken, Danone, Mondelez, Royal London, Square and P&G. Outside the boardroom, Monica continues to study and perform the classical Indian dance form, Kathak.
